The Horse Farm
We were asked by the owner of a horse farm somewhere in the deepest part of New England to do an investigation. Not because they felt there was anything malicious or evil but merely because they wanted to know who WAS there. For this family it was not a matter of what or how, spirits haunting the property had become a matter of fact, an open secret. So they invited the Ghost Quest crew in to help them find the answers they sought.Investigators : Katie Boyd (demonologist/occult sciences expert), Beckah Boyd (psychic medium/tech), Lorrie Gibson (investigator)
The Investigation : Started at 5:30 p.m. March, 16th 2010. We first took base readings around the main barn including temperature, and EMF. We used a K-II, standard EMF gauge, a dual temperature IR thermometer (average temperature was 55.1F) and the MEL Meter. Base readings showed a reading of 0.0mG in Hallways 0.0mG in Indoor Riding Arena and, 0.20mG in the Tack Room.

Hey All!
I thought I would explain a little bit about what it is like to be an animal communicator. Our pets see so much more than we do and it is an invaluable tool when it comes to paranormal investigations. In the past I've used my abilities to speak with dogs to help me locate places of high EMF, spirit activity, or portals. Animals are much more sensitive than us humans and so being able to get their perspective is very important.
The process of communicating with animals, for me, is similar to that in which I communicate with spirits. Some psychic say it is like walking through a thought bubble, for me communication is much more direct. If you watch the video below one of the key steps that I make sure to do when I speak with an animal is to make eye contact or to touch them. This allows me the opportunity to sync my energy with theirs allowing for the communication.
When we speak we often speak in pictures. For example say the word popcorn, when you say that you will most likely visualize something in connection with this food. Animals are able to pick up on this type of thought-speak, but are usually startled when it comes from humans as they are used to being relatively ignored when it comes to communicating on their level. Gradually it went forward for me, from pictures to actually words.
